Effingham Fire Department Holds Ribbon Cutting For New Training Facility

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A ribbon cutting was held Friday afternoon at the new Effingham Fire Department Training Facility at 708 East Eiche Avenue in Effingham.

Fire Chief Brant Yochum spoke on the facility and all the work that went into making it happen. He thanked the City Council and Mayor Schutzbach for their support on the project, highlighting flexibility to get everything needed for the construction.

After the short speech and the ribbon cutting ceremony, attendees were able to tour the facility.
