Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Mid-70’s are set for the weekend, but severe weather is likely on Monday.
Temperatures will not be quite as warm the next few days, but still several degrees above late April normals. A cold front early next week will bring a threat of severe weather, followed by a cooler weather pattern to close out the month.
We continue to focus on Monday as being our next significant severe weather threat, and the latest outlook from the Storm Prediction Center highlights a greater than 30% chance of severe weather across most of the state. All severe weather hazards appear in play. Continue to monitor this time frame as we get closer to early next week.
