
Fayette County, IL-(Vandalia Radio)- Three men are facing multiple Felony counts after they are alleged to have beaten two individuals over the weekend.
25 year old Christopher L. Bailey of Carlyle, 25 year old Jacob C. Korves of Vandalia and 27 year old Michael R. Korves of Vandalia all face three Felony counts. Two counts of Aggravated Battery in a Public Place, which are both Class 3 Felonies, and one count of Mob Action, which is a Class 4 Felony.
Information on the first count is the same for all 3 individuals and says they are alleged to have committed a battery at Kennedy and Gallatin in Vandalia where they are alleged to have beaten an individual and kicked the individual in the head. The second count says while at the same location, the three are alleged to have beaten a second victim by allegedly striking the second individual in the head. The count of Mob Action is for the three defendants allegedly teaming up against the two other individuals.
All 3 defendants have been released pending pre-trial conditions. Bailey will next appear in court on June 2nd at 9am, while both Jacob and Michael Korves will both appear in court on June 3rd at 9 am.
