Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Severe weather is likely tonight, and colder temperatures will come in for the weekend.
A cold front will sweep across central IL tonight. Ahead of the front, a line of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging wind, hail, & an isolated tornado will move across central IL. A few isolated storms may precede the main line as early as late afternoon.
Warmth builds back across central Illinois through next week.
