July 26, 2025
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 66 year old Timothy E. Finfrock of Effingham for possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of 5-10g of meth with intent to deliver. Timothy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old Zachary W. Buhler of Effingham for DUI drugs, possession of adult use cannabis in passenger area of vehicle – driver, and disobeying a traffic control device. Zachary was given an NTA and was released.
July 27, 2025
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45 year old Margarita Walker of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended and a Jasper County FTA warrant for possession of meth. Margarita was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 37 year old Laura C. Maynor of Effingham for a Coles County FTA warrant for meth possession. Laura was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Altamont Police arrested 46 year old Sherry F. Guthrie of Altamont for battery. Sherry was given an NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 31 year old Jaime G. Turja of Effingham for domestic battery. Jaime was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
