Marion County, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by Illinois State Police District 12:
WHAT:
- Single Vehicle Personal Injury Traffic Crash
WHERE:
- US Highway 51 at Ferrydale Road, Marion County
WHEN:
- Jan. 26, 2022 at approximately 6:00 p.m.
VEHICLE:
- Unit 1– Red/Black RBR Vector Ag Spreader
DRIVER:
- Unit 1- Harvey Dagg, 30-year-old male from Salem, IL – Transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
PRELIMINARY:
- A preliminary investigation indicates the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling south on US Highway 51 just north of Ferrydale Road in Marion County. The driver of Unit 1 struck a guardrail and left the roadway to the right. Unit 1 came to rest down a wooded embankment. Unit 1 driver was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
CHARGES:
- Unit 1 driver was cited for Improper Lane Usage.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
