Single Vehicle Accident With Injuries

Banner Township, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by Illinois State Police District 14:

WHAT:                      

• Single Vehicle Personal Injury Accident

WHERE: 

• State Highway 33, 1/2 mile west of 800th street, Banner Township

WHEN:

• Mar. 15 at 9:05am

VEHICLE:

• Unit 1– Brown 1998 Ford Windstar Wagon

DRIVER:                   

• Unit 1- Marilyn J. Koffman, 86, of Beecher City

PRELIMINARY:      

• Unit 1 was travelling westbound on Illinois Highway 33, approximately 1/2 mile west of 800th Avenue. The driver of Unit 1 lost control of the vehicle and left the road way to the left. Unit 1 travelled down the embarkment and struck a concrete culvert.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
