SPRINGFIELD, IL-(EFFINGHAM RADIO)-Corn looks to still be king in Illinois.
The USDA yesterday said that Illinois farmers will plant more corn than soybeans this year.
That’s the opposite of what the USDA says farmers across the country will do.
Their spring forecast says, nationally, farmers will plant 89 million acres of beans and 88 million acres of corn.
