(Washington, DC) — It’s one of the most unsurprising roll calls of the year in Washington, DC. Illinois’ congressmen split by party on yesterday’s vote for tax reform. The state’s seven Republican congressmen voted for the plan to rewrite the nation’s tax code. Illinois’ eleven Democrats voted against the proposal. The package is headed for an uncertain future in the U.S. Senate.
