TOLEDO — The man accused of robbing the Greenup Dollar General last month opted to waive his preliminary hearing on Monday. 68 year old David Croy, of Greenup, is facing three new charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a class 3 felony, Resisting or Obstructing a Police Officer, a Class A Misdemeanor, and Aggravated Assault, also a Class A Misdemeanor. These charges are in addition to the original charge of Armed Robbery. He could be facing up to 45 years in prison.
Croy is accused of attempting to rob the Greenup Dollar General on March 22. He was apprehended in the vicinity shortly after exciting the store.
