Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A reminder from Effingham County Treasurer Deb Ruholl to the property owners in Effingham County that the 1st installment payment of property tax is due Friday, September 25th.
The taxes can be paid as follows:
- At the Treasurer’s office on the 2nd floor of the County Office Building
- Dropped off in the County drop box located in the parking lot north of the County Building
- At most banks in the County
- Online (a convenience fee will apply)
- Mailed to the Treasurer’s office
If payments are not in our office by 4 PM on Friday or postmarked on or before Friday, September 25th, the first installment will incur a late penalty.
