Judy Lee Welch-Radloff, 74, of Strasburg, IL, passed away at 3:40 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Shelbyville Manor.
In keeping with Judy’s wishes, her life will be celebrated privately. In memory of Judy, memorials may be given to the Stew-Stras Book Club and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 N. Broadway, Shelbyville, IL or donate a banned book. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, Strasburg, IL.
Judy was born on October 29, 1951, in Rockville, IN, the daughter of Charles Walter and Anna Mae (Robertson) Frost. She was a preschool teacher and owned and operated The Edmond Academy preschool while living in Edmond, Oklahoma. Judy married John Elwin Radloff on October 29, 1998. Judy and John owned and operated Buster’s Gas Station and Convenience Store in Windsor, IL for many years. John recently passed away on June 30, 2026. Judy was an avid reader, a skilled gardener, and a gifted watercolor artist.
She is survived by her daughter, Christa Welch of Denver, CO; son, Jeremy “Jamie” Welch (Kathy) of Rockville, IN; six grandchildren, Beckett, Harper Frances, Carolynn, Courtney, Richie, and Dakota; three great grandchildren; brother, Wally Frost (Kathy) of Strasburg, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Radloff; parents; Charles and Anna Mae Frost; and three sisters, Linda Sue Hart, Mary Lana Livengood, and Charlie Beasley.
