Teutopolis Board of Education Holds Reorganizational Meeting

Teutopolis, IL-(Effingham Radio)-The Teutopolis Board of Education met on Monday, May 1st.

The Board took the following action at the meeting:

• The Board approved Regular Minutes and Executive Minutes from April 17, 2023.
• The Board accepted the April 4, 2023 Elections results as presented by the County Clerks, thereby adjourning the prior Board, thanking each member for their service, and hereby call for the Reorganization of the Board of Education.
• The Board administered the Oath of Office to Newly Elected Board Members – Adam Hoene, Paul Hardiek, Kari Thompson, Laura Hemmen and Chandler Hewing.
• The Board elected the following Officers: Courtney Tegeler as President, Erin Ordner as Vice President, Chandler Hewing as Secretary and Sarah Lin as Treasurer.
• The Board established dates, times and places for Regular Meetings 2023-2024 (see attached).
• The Board made appointments of Members to Various Boards – Kari Thompson as Teutopolis Education Foundation member, Erin Ordner as Eastern Illinois Area Special Education Governing Board Member, and Courtney Tegeler as Illinois Association of School Boards Wabash Valley Governing Board Member. 

The next Regular Board of Education Meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 15, 2023.
