WHAT:
- Single Vehicle Personal Injury Traffic Crash
WHERE:
- Interstate 70 westbound near milepost 147.5, Clark County
WHEN:
- June 6, 2022 at approximately 12:57 a.m.
VEHICLE:
- Unit 1- 2019 Blue Freightliner Truck-Tractor Semi-Trailer Combination
DRIVER:
- Unit 1- Robert Headrick, 40-year-old male from Minerva, OH – Transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
PRELIMINARY:
- A preliminary investigation indicates the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling westbound on Interstate 70 near milepost 147.5 in Clark County. Unit 1 struck a wheel that was laying in the roadway. The driver of Unit 1 lost control and left the roadway to the left, crossing the center median and then overturning onto the eastbound lanes. Unit 1 driver was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both eastbound lanes were closed for approximately 3 hours for the crash investigation and clean-up efforts.
