
Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Today the Effingham County Health Department announced two COVID related deaths, one of a woman in her 50s and one of a woman in her 90s. It also announced four new positive cases of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). Positive case demographics are as follows:

Illinois Region 6 rolling test positivity was 2.3% through March 25, while Effingham County increased again and was 4.1% for the same period. The last time Effingham’s rate was this high was early February.
With the ongoing increase in cases, the Effingham County Health Department would like to encourage the community, to get vaccinated sooner rather than later. The Health Department has now opened up its COVID vaccine clinics to Illinois residents aged 18 and over, and has a first dose clinic coming up on Tuesday, March 30, from 11 to 6 that can be booked online. Go to www.effcohealth.org to find the appointment booking link. Booking closes at Midnight on Monday.

- Download and print a copy of the ticket. (or save picture on phone)
- Bring this ticket to your appointment.
- Complete a Consent Form- available at www.effcohealth.org
- Print, Complete (please use legal name) and Sign a Vaccine Consent Form
- Review the Vaccine Fact Sheet
You will need to bring your completed consent form, your ticket, your current insurance card(s) plus photo I.D. to your appointment.
Computers, Wi-Fi plus printing facilities are available at the Effingham Public Library. The library has offered to print tickets for free.
