
Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Effingham County Health Department announced a total of eight new positive cases of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) for Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20. There were five cases on Friday and three cases so far on Saturday. Positive case demographics are as follows:

This week the Effingham County Health Department administered nearly twelve hundred doses of COVID vaccine, taking total doses administered to over eleven thousand for Effingham County Residents.
Illinois Region 6 rolling test positivity was 2.2% through March 17, while Effingham County was 1.4% for the same period.
