Dieterich, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Effingham County State’s Attorney Bryan Kibler and County Board member Dave Campbell have made national news with their efforts to make Effingham County a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County and today they are focusing their efforts on another cause – electing Adam Niemerg State Representative in the 109th District.
“Adam brings a lot of energy and there is no doubt he will be the kind of effective leader this district needs,” said Effingham County State’s Attorney Bryan Kibler. “More importantly, Adam shares the values of the people he will be representing in Springfield. There is no doubt in my mind that Adam Niemerg is the right candidate for the job.”
Campbell said one of the main reasons he is supporting Niemerg is because of his strong support for the 2nd Amendment, an issue that has come front and center in the 109th District.
“I have known Adam for a long time and there is no question in my mind that the person who best represents the values of the 109th District is Adam Niemerg,” Campbell said. “He is pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment and he will stand up for taxpayers by opposing jobs-killing tax increases. There is no question Adam will be the effective leader we need representing us in Springfield.”
Campbell said it is important to have someone in Springfield who understands the importance of the 2nd Amendment especially in light of a recent incident in Jasper County involving local authorities paying a visit to a couple’s home after the wife’s FOID Card had expired.
“Jasper County, like Effingham County, is a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary County,” Campbell said. “I am sure there is more to this story than what is being said on social media, but it goes to show you the importance of having local leaders who will stand up for conservative principles and values. We need leaders from the courthouse to the Statehouse who will defend our Constitutional rights. This is why it is imperative for us to elect Adam Niemerg as our next State Representative.”
Adam Niemerg is Teutopolis native and resides in rural Dieterich with his wife, Trina, and two small children ages 4 and 15 months. They are members of the St. Isidore Catholic Parish, and they attend St. Aloysius church. He is running as a Republican. The Primary Election is March 17, 2020.
