EFFINGHAM, IL-(Effingham Radio)-The Suzette Brumleve Memorial Effingham Public Library is pleased to showcase the art work of local artist Deanne Donoho.
Mrs. Donoho’s work will be on display until Nov. 30, 2018.
Deanne Donoho is a self- taught artist born from Salem, Illinois.
Deanne has always been a creative person.
Her only formal training was in High School art classes.
Since then she has educated herself by reading many books, watching videos, and attending seminars and classes by other artists.
Deanne is married and the Mother of 2 sons and a stepson and is now a Grandmother of 5.
She is the pianist and youth leader at her Church.
After retiring in 2014 Deanne started an art studio in her home and has devoted her time to her art, striving to learn from other artists and better her craft.
She loves all styles of art but describes herself as an impressionistic realist with a preferred medium of oil.
Deanne has had pieces accepted in local juried art shows at the Centralia Cultural Center Fall art show and at Cedarhurst in Mt. Vernon, IL.
She has won several awards in local art contests and fairs and loves to show her work.
Deanne is inspired by the beauty around her and finds the creative process very fulfilling.
She strives to recreate the beauty of the Master Creator.
