High School Volleyball
- The National Trail Conference Volleyball Tournament opened pool play last with Windsor/Stew-Stras picking up two victories as they defeated South Central 25-4 25-11 and Neoga 25-16 25-10. Leading the way for W/SS in the two games were Mackenzi Tabbert with 45 assists, Megan Schlechte 29 kills and Carson Cole with 20 digs. W/SS is now 23-4 on the season and advance to the 5 o’ clock and 7 o’ clock games on Saturday at the Enlow Center at St. Anthony High School. Neoga also picked up a win against South Central 25-23 25-21. Neoga advances to the 2 o’ clock and 3 0′ clock games on Saturday while South Central is in the 9 A.M and 11 A.M games.
Action continues tonight at the Enlow Center and at Goff Gym. Games at the Enlow Center Altamont vs. CHBC at 5:00, North Clay vs. CHBC at 6:00 and Altamont vs. North Clay at 7:00. Games at Goff Gym SEB vs. Dieterich at 5:00, St. Anthony vs. Dieterich at 6:00 and SEB vs. St. Anthony at 7:00.
- Mahomet-Seymour defeated Effingham 25-27 25-22 25-20. Leading the way for Effingham was Carsyn Fearday with 15 assists and 13 digs and Natalie Carire with 8 kills. Effinham now drops to 14-15on the season. Effingham would take the victory in the JV contest 25-12 25-20 and the fresh/soph contest 16-21 21-18 15-12.
High School Soccer
- Effingham got a 3-2 win over Lincoln. For Effingham Cooper Jackson scored 2 goals and Tucker Moeller added the other goal. Ethan Boggs had 11 saves. In the JV contest it ended in a 2-2 tie.
Junior High Basketball
- CHBC picked up a pair of victories against Okaw Valley. In the 7th Grade contest it was a 34-27 victory Ruby Stuckemeyer led the way with 19 points, Kendyl Vaughn had 6 points, Marissa Summers had 5 points and Abbi Morgason had 4 points. CHBC now improves to 7-1 on the season.

In the 8th Grade contest it was a 46-26 winner. Leading the way for CHBC was Gracie Heckert with 24 points, Mady Wojcik had 7 points, Hallye Morrison had 5 points, Harleigh Bunch and Aja Gour had 4 points and Lexi Thompson had 2 points. CHBC is now improves to 8-0 on the season.
