TACOMA, WA-(Effingham Radio)- The central Illinois man accused of the 1986 murder of a teenage girl is headed to Washington state to face charges.
Tacoma Police yesterday picked up 60-year-old Robert Washburn.
Investigators say they linked Washburn to the murder of 13-year-old Jennifer Bastian through DNA.
Police in Eureka, Illinois, arrested Washburn earlier this month.
There’s no word on when Washington state prosecutors expect to have Washburn in a courtroom in Tacoma.
