The St Peter man charged with murder appeared in Fayette County Court on Tuesday.
24 year old, Alexander Beccue appeared in Fayette County Court on Tuesday for a motion hearing along with the State’s Attorney and Beccue’s Counsel, Edward Deters. During Beccue’s appearance, a motion to consume that was filed by the state was granted and the Defense requested that Beccue’s DNA sample be done so in a manner that won’t interfere with or contaminate his sample to be tested. The Defense was advised to draft a written order and submit it to the State for signature. A Pre-Trial Hearing was then set for February 27th at 1:00pm.
Alexander Beccue is charged with Murder with the Intent to Kill/Injure, a Class M Felony, Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, a Class 2 Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, a Class 3 Felony, and Murder with the Strong Probability to Kill/Injure, a Class M Felony. Beccue was arrested on August 11th following a shooting that occurred in Ramsey, in which the victim passed away.
All persons listed are innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
