- Mitchell W. Aldora, 23, of Watson was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for Contempt of Court. Aldora Posted $500
- Tyler E. Hahn, 25, of Altamont was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for contempt of court after failing a drug test on an original charge of possession methamphetamine. Hahn is in Jail.
- Corey L. Fitzgeral, 25, of Altamont was arreated for failure to appear on an original warrant of possession of drug paraphernalia. Fitzgerald is in Jail.
- Darius D. Gardet, 25, of Mt. Vernon was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for failure to appear on an original warrant of driving with a suspended license. Gardet is in Jail.
- Courtney D Abendroth, 25, of Effingham was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for driving with a suspended license. Abendroth is in Jail.
- Daniel R. Crain, 29, of Salem was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for driving with a suspended license, and failure to appear/pay on an original warrant of driving with a suspended license.
- Travis W. Barr, 37, of Brownstown was arrested by Altamont Police Department for possession of a hypodermic needle. Barr is in Jail.
- Braxton D. Croy, 21, of Effingham was arrested by Effingham Police Department for an original warrant for leaving the scene. Croy posted $375
Mattoon Police Department
December 4, 2017
- The Mattoon Police arrested Tyrice D. Cassell, 28 of Mattoon, for Driving while License Suspended. The charge alleges Mr. Cassell was operating a motor vehicle while having a suspended drivers license. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of Charleston Ave in Mattoon. Mr. Cassell posted bond and was released.
December 6, 2017
- Mattoon Police arrested Amanda K. Chaney, 36 of Mattoon for Obstructing Identification. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of S. 15th Street in Mattoon. The charge alleges Ms. Chaney provided a false name for herself to police during the investigation of a domestic disturbance. Ms. Chaney was taken to the Coles County Safety and Detention Center.

November 29, 2017
- Kasandra Henson, 31, Effingham, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Aggravated D.U.I. Bond set at $4,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She appeared in Clay County Court on a later day and was released.

- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy cited Steven Strickland, 29, Louisville, for Expired Registration. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.
December 1, 2017
- Chase Runyon, 22, Noble, was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond set $30,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He appeared in Clay County Court and was released.

- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Amanda Wesselman, 37, Effingham, on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond set at $3,500.00 (10%), plus warrant fee. She posted bond and was released.
- Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy cited Cody McKnelly, 26, Louisville, for Louisville Ordinance Dogs at Large. He was given a Notice to Appear and released.
