Charleston,IL- –(Effingham Radio)– Five women were arrested in Charleston for mob action and aggravated battery.
According to a news release by the Charleston Police Department, the Charleston PD, EIU Police, Coles County Sheriff’s Office, and Charleston Ambulance were called to the Penalty Box by staff on March 3rd.
It was reported that multiple individuals were fighting within the bar and someone sprayed pepper spray.
Upon the arrival of emergency personnel. the suspects continued fighting.
Officers then used their own OC Spray, which ended the fighting.
The Charleston PD then began investigating the incident, which led to five arrests over the past month.
Four women, 25 year old, Mone L Bulard, 24 year old, Tenia R Collins, 23 year old, Khamyra A Lane, and 22 year old, Alexis D Swift, were arrested for Mob Action.
22 year old, Kendra A Walters-Curry was taken into custody for Aggravated Battery.
