Watson Resident John A. Erickson has been sentenced to twelve years with the Illinois Department of Corrections after being arrested in a methamphetamine raid in May.
Erickson appeared in court today and pleaded guilty to Aggravated Manufacture of more than 15 grams of Methamphetamine. Two other charges against him regarding the manufacturing of methamphetamine were dismissed. The charge is a Class X Felony. With good behavior, Erickson could possibly only serve 9 years of his sentence. The court recommended that he participate in drug treatment programs while in prison.
