You are invited to join us for the Dan Hecht 17th Annual Youth Quail/Pheasant Hunt, FREE for youth between the ages of 10 -16, on Saturday, October 18th.
Check-in begins at 9am and hunting will start at 9:30am, continuing until 4pm. Food & other refreshments will be provided.
The Dan Hecht Farm, now recognized as a hunting preserve, is located on Riffle Road near Iola, IL. Take S Rt 45 to Riffle Road and follow the signs.
A Banner Raffle will be held at the event. Tickets are $10 each . Tickets will also be available the day of the hunt.
A parent or guardian will need to complete and sign the emergency medical form and the waiver at registration. This hunt is listed as one of the safest hunts the Quail Forever organization has seen.
Everyone who goes into the field are required to wear some hunter orange for safety purposes. An observation area is available for those not hunting. All participants must have a regular or apprentice hunting license. It is also preferred that all participants have taken a gun safety course. Hunters must bring own gun and ammo.
