C.H.A.T. - Cancer support Group

C.H.A.T. - Compassionate Healing and Awareness of Thoughts is a new cancer support group that will be facilitated by HSHS Hospice Southern Illinois Bereavement Counselor Maddie Johnson, MS, NCC, LPC. It is a year-round, open enrollment group for those who have been diagnosed with and/or are undergoing treatment for cancer. The goal is create a safe space of acceptance where each person can share experiences, questions, and concerns. No reservation, payment, or set attendance required.

The group will meet in the St. Francis room at HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital on the first Monday of every month from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. The next session is scheduled for May 2.
