Little Book Beginners Program
Little Book Beginners program at Marshall Public Library for preschoolers ages 3, 4, and 5 years with a parent the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM. The program runs now through April at the library, thanks to generous local funding from Marshall Rotary Club, the Evelyn G. Knowles Foundation and the Old National Bank Foundation. At each sixty minute program, Miss Marge, a retired reading teacher, reads the children a story, teaches finger plays and songs, and leads interactive projects for the children and parents. Children receive a free book to take home at each session and an additional book if they complete a monthly reading log.
You may reserve your seat by calling the library at 217-826-2535, or by registering online at www.marshallillibrary.com.
The library is located at 612 Archer Avenue, in Marshall, Illinois, and is handicapped accessible.
