Mattoon, IL-(Effingham Radio)- One Hope United, a nonprofit organization supporting children and families in Mattoon and across Illinois and Florida, is kicking off its annual Holiday Hope Express campaign to help make the holiday season a little brighter for those it serves.
In the Mattoon area, One Hope United provides foster care and adoption services, helping children find safe, supportive homes and families. The Mattoon team also provides specialized support to help children experiencing challenges in their placements build stability and remain in supportive home environments.
This year, One Hope United is encouraging supporters to make monetary donations by Friday, December 4, allowing the organization to provide gifts and other holiday support to children and families across the communities it serves.
For families already managing the financial pressures of everyday life, the added expense of holiday gifts can be difficult. The Holiday Hope Express helps ease some of that burden while ensuring children feel celebrated and experience the joy of the holiday season.
