Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham School Board moved through several personnel and district business items during its monthly meeting Monday night.
Board members approved adopting a tentative tax levy and scheduled a public levy hearing for Monday, December 14th, at 5:30. The board also approved updated non-certified job descriptions, along with new evaluation instruments that will take effect immediately.
In student recognition, the board acknowledged eighth grader Caydon Jolly for competing at the Junior High Cross Country State Tournament, highlighting his achievement at the state level. The meeting combined financial planning, staff policy updates, and recognition of student success.
The Board also announced the district’s recent personnel moves.
