Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- A company is recalling a lot of thyroid tablets because they could potentially be “superpotent.” The FDA announced that the high potency 30 milligram tablets could cause hyperthyroidism, or an overactive thyroid. Consuming them could result in weight loss, heat intolerance, fatigue, chest pain, and other symptoms.
Vitruvias Therapeutics is working on notifying wholesalers to stop distribution.
