Two Killed After Severe Weather Hits Jefferson County

Jefferson County, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Two people are dead after severe weather hit Jefferson County in downstate Illinois.

Storms rolled through the region yesterday. Authorities say two people died after two homes were destroyed near Dix and in Mount Vernon. Five other people were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
