Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- During this difficult time, help is needed in many different places. Announcements through social media and websites are showing that many local businesses are answering the call when the community needs the help most.
From Probst Auto Body Facebook page:
Our hearts go out to everyone affected by last night’s storms.
We know a lot of families in our area are dealing with damage, debris, and a long cleanup ahead.
We have trucks and trailers ready to help haul debris off.
If you’re elderly, unable to safely clean up, or just need an extra hand moving limbs/debris, our Probst Auto Body team would like to help where we can.
If you need help or know someone who does, send us a message or call the shop. Please stay safe and avoid downed power lines or unstable structures. Priority will go to elderly residents, families with limited help, and unsafe access situations.

Our community has been through a lot following the recent tornado, and we want to do our small part to help.
Let our office know if you have been affected and we can provide spare contact lenses or contact lens solution. Also if you have damaged or lost eyewear from the storm. Please give us a call. We will do our best to accommodate patients who have been impacted and get you taken care of as quickly as possible.
To allow our team to assist with local cleanup efforts, our Mattoon office will be closed on Friday. Our other locations will remain available to help with your eye care needs.
Thank you to all of the first responders, utility workers, volunteers, and neighbors who are helping our community recover. Stay safe, and please reach out if we can help.
