Chicago, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Chicago Bears are moving closer to building a new stadium in Northwest Indiana. The team’s board of directors voted on Thursday to move forward with stadium development plans in Hammond, although the exact site has not been determined.
It comes just a couple days after the end of the spring legislative session in Illinois. However, ESPN reports the announcement of the move doesn’t guarantee the team will leave Illinois as Indiana leads the race, but Illinois can also get back in the conversation.
