Michelle Dee (Ball) “Miki” Abraham, age 58, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 12:10 AM- Friday July 25, 2025, at Helia Healthcare in Newton, Illinois.
Services celebrating Miki’s, life will be held at 5:00 PM – Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 PM before the service at the funeral home. A private burial will be in the Shiloh Cemetery west of Willow Hill, Illinois. In loving memory of Miki, memorials may be made to the Meyer Funeral Home.
Michelle better known to her family and friends as “Miki” was born on April 6, 1967, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Kenneth R. and Leda Mae Bloomer) Ball. She graduated from Newton Community High School with the Class of 1985.
Miki enjoyed learning and furthering her education. She was an avid fan and collected Mickey and Minnie Mouse memorabilia.
Miki is survived by Children Myra Griffin of Oblong, Illinois and Phillip Abraham of Rushville, Illinois, Grandchildren Rebecca and Evie, Father Kenneth (Carolyn) Ball of Falmouth, Illinois, Sisters Pat Baker of Willow Hill, Illinois; Sandy Steinman of Newton, Illinois; Sharon Reynolds of Willow Hill, Illinois; Cheryl Ford of Newton, Illinois; and Kendra (John) Campion of Falmouth, Illinois, Step-siblings – Dawn (Gary) Caldwell of Arkansas; Juanita Jayne of Newton, Illinois; James (Felisha) Nail of Falmouth, Illinois; Becky (Mike) Hixon of Willow Hill, Illinois and John (Lisa) Nail of Mattoon, Illinois
Miki was preceded in death by her mother, son Michael Abraham, siblings Kenneth Staley, Tracy Ball, David Ball and Pamela Worton.
