Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Tomorrow, from 7AM to 2PM, the intersection of West St. Louis Avenue and North Henrietta Street will be closed for scheduled water main construction. Detour signs will guide drivers around the closure.
North Henrietta St. from West Temple Ave. to Heritage Ave. will also be closed beginning tomorrow 7-22-25 from 6AM to 6AM Wednesday 7-23-25 for sewer construction.
Commuters are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time throughout the morning and early afternoon. Safety is the priority during these necessary improvements.
