Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- We have another chance for severe weather this afternoon and tonight, with more chances every day this weekend.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis says additional storms are expected this afternoon/early evening. A few of these storms may be strong to severe, with gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall possible.
A cold front will settle along the Ohio River Valley today with a few showers and storms possible as far north as the I-72 corridor. Temps will range from the upper 70s north of I-74 to around 90 south of I-70. Daily chances for showers and storms continue through the weekend.
