Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Hundreds of thousands of Ford and Lincoln vehicles are being recalled.
According to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notice, more than 850-thousand vehicles are being recalled because the low-pressure fuel pump may fail, which can lead to an engine stall while driving and increase the risk of a crash. Affected models include the Ford Bronco, Expedition, Mustang, and F-150 as well as Lincoln Aviators and Navigators.
The company said it does not have a fix for the issue yet, but it plans to start notifying owners about the safety risk by mail next week.
