Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Tax & Finance Committee held their monthly meeting Thursday and approved a couple requests for funding for upcoming festivals and fireworks displays.
- $1k to EdgewoodFest
- $1k to Effingham Noon Rotary Fireworks
The Committee stated that the money being sent to these festivals will put the hotel/motel fund over budget, but said it can be worked out at the end of the year. The Committee also approved new salaries for a victim witness coordinator.
