Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Major ice cream brands are recalling nearly 18-thousand containers of ice cream and frozen yogurt products due to possible plastic contamination. Both Blue Bunny and Halo Top are taking back 22 different flavors of their frosty desserts all across the country.
The FDA said a voluntary recall was issued late last month for three-gallon tubs sold by Wells Enterprises. The administration categorized the recall as a Class-Two, meaning anyone who has consumed the product could suffer temporary or medically reversable adverse health consequences.
