Cindy Dunahee, 72 passed away February 13, 2025
Cindy was born March 13, 1952 to Lou and Marjorie Marshal, the 3rd of 7 children.
Funeral to be held on February 22, 2025 at Meyer’s Funeral Home in Olney, Illinois. Visitation from 10-11 AM , Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM and Grave side to follow at Olney Memorial Garden.
Cindy married Tim Dunahee on May 30, 1978 and they had 5 children.
She went to high school at Mount Diablo High in Concord, Ca.
Cindy attended college at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California, then Olney Central College in Olney, Illinois, where she graduated with an associate’s degree, Psychology major.
Cindy enjoyed doing genealogy research. She was a Primary President and Teacher, Relief Society teacher, Seminary teacher and Relief Society Homemaking Counselor. Her hobbies were sewing, singing, crocheting, knitting, needlepoint and reading. She was a rural newspaper carrier for the Olney Daily Mail and volunteered as a Cub Scout Den Leader and a Girl Scout Troop Leader and with Birthright.
Cindy is preceeded in death by both her parents, Lou & Marjorie Marshal and a younger brother Benny.
