
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Ford Motor Company is recalling over 100-thousand Lincoln Aviator SUV’s due to problems with the rearview cameras. Owners began complaining a of a distorted view and tests showed the problem may be caused by cellphone usage.
Ford reportedly received 478 reports of rearview camera issues between August of 2019 and last month. The recall affects models built between 2020 and 2024 and Ford says they have not been told of any accidents or injuries due to the problem. Owners will be receiving notices about the recall beginning July 2nd and are advised not to use their cellphone while the vehicle is in reverse.
