Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The solar eclipse drew quite a viewing crowd in the WCRC parking lot.

The moon crossed in front of the sun to create a corona effect, and it made the afternoon seem like dusk dark. It’s an experience we won’t soon forget.
Some pictures of the eclipse were sent to us courtesy of Brandi Tucker who took the pictures in Pana, IL.

If you have any pictures of the eclipse, please feel free to share in the comments. Effingham was right on the edge of the totality range for this solar eclipse. Totality lasted for about 45 seconds.
The next eclipse will be in 2045.
