On Thursday 2/1/2024 at 12:26 hours, Teutopolis, with auto-aid from Montrose, was dispatched to a reported semi tractor trailer roll-over with lane blockage, Interstate 70 westbound at the 103 mile marker.
Upon arrival AC603 reported only partial outside lane blockage, no entrapment (driver self extricated) no hazardous cargo. Driver was transported by Rural Med EMS to St Anthony hospital. ISP Troop 9 on scene, along with IDOT, directed traffic at the crash site. Heartland Towing & Recovery uprighted the tractor trailer and recovered the spilled cargo.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 13:15 hours
