Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Severe weather is possible across Central Illinois tomorrow.
According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms will move across Central Illinois on Wednesday afternoon.
A few of these will be strong to severe and will bring the potential for hail and strong wind gusts that could exceed 60mph.
The highest chance for severe weather will be along and to the east of the Illinois River.
As such, these areas are ranked at a Slight or a level 2 of 5 risk for severe thunderstorms, while other areas in Central Illinois are ranked at a Marginal or level 1 of 5 risk.
