Brownstown, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Brownstown Board of Education met in Regular Session on Monday, April 17, 2023.
Approval was given for the following:
- Consolidated District Plan for the 2023-2024 school year
- Superintendent to advertise for bread and milk bids
- Membership in the IESA
- FY22 Single Audit Federal Compliance Report
- Superintendent to advertise for rock and site work bids related to the Solar Field project
- Superintendent to being working on the FY24 budget
First Reading was conducted on Board Policy updates as recommended by the IASB.
The Board accepted the resignation of Michelle Baker as route bus driver effective the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
