Salem Police Report Call Was Received Warning Of Active Shooter At Salem HS, Later Discovered To Be Fake

Salem, IL-(Effingham Radio)- From the Salem Police Department Facebook Pahe:

The Salem Police Department received a call that there was an active shooter at the Salem Community High School this morning. All the schools, public and private, were notified and checked. There WAS NOT an active shooter incident in Salem.

We believe this is part of a series of swatting calls made to Salem and along with other agencies state-wide.
