Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham Noon Rotary heard from a representative of El Shaddai Homes at their recent meeting.
Lisa Krampe spoke at the March 8th Effingham Noon Rotary Meeting about El Shaddai Homes.
Krampe, the founder of El Shaddai Homes, stated that the Home is a residential maternity home for pregnant women and their children.
According to Krampe, the goals for El Shaddai Homes are the following:
- Providing ministry to the women by introducing them to Jesus Christ and then working to establish them in a local church
- church services in the facility during the week
- prenatal care
- parenting classes
- money management classes
- GED classes or high school attendance
- assistance in creating a resume
- assistance in filling out paperwork for colleges
Once complete, El Shaddai Homes will be located at 505 West Temple Avenue in the former Brookstone Estates facility.
The home should open soon.
