Hillsboro, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Preliminary testing of an “unknown substance” that appeared to have left a group of employees at the Graham Correctional Center in Hillsboro hospitalized is coming back negative for narcotics or hazardous materials.
Nearly 20 workers and possibly one inmate were sent to the hospital after being exposed to the substance Wednesday. Testing of the substance showed that it was an acetaminophen-paracetamol-based nasal spray and baby powder. Everyone involved in the incident has been released from the hospital.
