Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The 52nd Annual Sacred Heart Picnic returns to Effingham this weekend, June 25th and 26th.
The Picnic kicks off Saturday morning at 7:30am with the Race to the Cross 5K, 10K, and Fun Run.
Following the race, the Flea Market will open up at 8:30am. The Flea Market will be open until 8:00pm on Saturday.
The Picnic Grounds will open up at 5:00pm until midnight on Saturday.
They will have bingo, carnival rides, games for all ages, and food.
At 8:30pm, Abby Dietzen will perform live music until 10:00pm.
On Sunday, the day kicks off with the Flea Market at 11:00am until 6:00pm and the Chicken and Ham Dinner until 6:00pm.
Dine-in or Carry out is available for the dinner. It will take place in the air-conditioned parish center.
At 12:00pm, the picnic grounds will open until 11:00pm.
Live music will be available starting with Firebox from 3:30-5:00pm, FACE Orchestra from 5:30-6:30pm, and Cumberland Divide from 6:30-8:00pm.
An Online Auction is currently going on and will end at 10:00pm on Sunday, June 26th.
