Liberty Township, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Following Preliminary Information is Being Released by Effingham Police:
WHAT:
- Single Vehicle Accident With Injuries
WHERE:
- 1850th Avenue 1/2 mile West of 100th Street, Liberty Township
WHEN:
- September 27th at 5:59pm
VEHICLES:
- Unit 1 – Green 2002 Forde Explorer XLS
DRIVERS:
- Unit 1 – Tina M. Martin, 66, of Beecher City
PRELIMINARY:
- A preliminary investigation indicates the following occurred: Unit 1 was traveling westbound on 1850th Avenue approximately 1/2 mile west of 100th Street. Unit 1 lost control of the vehicle and began to skid, crossing into the north ditch and causing the vehicle to strike a power pole. Unit 1 then overturned and came to rest in a field.
The public is reminded that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
